Full job description

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team for the upcoming summer season. (Until Sep) The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our houses, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. A background in hospitality or hotel cleaning is advantageous, as we strive to provide exceptional service and uphold our reputation for excellence.

Normal working hours are 9.45am - 5.30pm, although this may vary.

The role begins on a probationary rate of £13.70, to be reviewed in the first month of employment with the potential to rise to £14.00 for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of designated areas.
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to ensure high hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces throughout the houses.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
Collaborate with team members to achieve daily cleaning goals efficiently.

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service are essential attributes for this role.
