Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance our organisation’s quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols to ensure our products meet the highest industry standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead quality initiatives, influence continuous improvement, and uphold our commitment to excellence across all operations. Candidates with a strong background in HACCP, quality assurance practices, and analytical skills will thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance programmes aligned with organisational goals and industry regulations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Analyse data from quality tests and inspections to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related problems promptly and effectively.
Ensure adherence to HACCP principles and other relevant food safety standards throughout all stages of production.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions for management review.
Lead training sessions for staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes affecting quality assurance practices.

Skills

Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Strong understanding of HACCP principles and their practical application in ensuring food safety.
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify actionable insights.
Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
Organised approach with meticulous attention to detail in documentation and process management.
Ability to lead initiatives for process improvements while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis and reporting is desirable.

This role is integral to maintaining the organisation’s reputation for delivering high-quality products while ensuring compliance with all safety standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and committed to fostering a culture of excellence within the organisation.

Pay: £40,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
