Full job description

HGV Class 2 - Readymix Driver

This full-time role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including paid breaks. Hourly rate of £14.25 per hour, plus overtime at a rate of £19.07.

Are you an experienced Class 2 Readymix Driver in Wymondham looking for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further! Eastern Concrete is on the hunt for a skilled individual to join our dynamic team.

Required Skills & Experience:

Hold a Class 2 HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC.
You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed.
Excellent time and communication skills are essential.
Ability to build and retain positive internal and external relationships.
Knowledge of East Anglia would be beneficial.
Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to a variety of customers.
Complete daily vehicle checks and keep your truck in top condition.
Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive.
Complete required paperwork with good attention to detail.
Assist Plant Supervisor as required.
