Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Supervisor Front of House to oversee daily operations within our hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise front-of-house team members, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring smooth shift operations
- Oversee food preparation and service to guarantee quality standards are met or exceeded
- Assist with food presentation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations
- Manage customer interactions, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to facilitate efficient food production and timely service
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the dining area in compliance with health and safety standards
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality, fostering a welcoming environment for guests
- Support staff training programmes and promote team development initiatives
- Ensure all operational procedures are followed consistently throughout shifts
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Experience in serving customers and managing guest relations effectively
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams under pressure
- Knowledge of culinary processes, food production, and kitchen operations is desirable
- Familiarity with hospitality standards, including barista experience or hotel service roles, is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
