Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We're looking for Relief Support Workers to join our small, welcoming service at Lilac Grove in Trowbridge, Wiltshire on a flexible, bank basis, paying £13.00 per hour.

Lilac Grove is home to three residents with complex needs. With the beautiful Wiltshire countryside on the doorstep, there's always something to enjoy; from swimming and wall climbing to day trips, holidays, and lunch at local cafés and pubs. Flexibility and a willingness to get involved in a wide range of activities are key to this role.

Communication is at the heart of what we do here, so an openness to learning different communication methods is essential.

A driving licence and willingness to drive our Sense vehicle would be a real advantage, as would some knowledge of BSL though neither is essential and full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who is:

Warm, caring, and empathetic
Flexible and enthusiastic
Willing to build meaningful relationships with the people you support
Positive, with a can-do attitude
Willing to attend training as needed

This role might include supporting people with:

Everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care
Finances and medication
Getting out into the community for activities, trips, and social outings
Encouraging independence in everything you do
