Company Overview

Overview
Responsible for the correct billing and recording of all incoming and outgoing vehicles on the weighbridge system and their overall compliance with site and safety regulations. Supporting with day to day office administration.

Duties

Monitoring and recording incoming and outgoing vehicle movements via the weighbridge system (FRED)
Administration of scrap purchases and producing self-billing invoices
Frontline customer service, fielding enquiries from internal and external customers face-to-face and via email and telephone
Generating purchase orders for the site team and recording goods received, whilst maintaining stocks of basic supplies
Registration of scrap vehicles received onto the DVLA portal
Generating Hazardous Waste Transfer Notes where required
Supporting with the production of routine reports in relation to the depot operations and material inputs and outputs

Experience

Attention to detail and good numeracy skills
Effective verbal and written communication and organisational skills in order to professionally interact with colleagues and internal customers face to face and over the phone
Commitment to delivering great customer service and experience
An interest or basic knowledge in metal grading, recycling or Environment Agency permits (desirable but not essential as this will be taught)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
