Duties

Perform welding tasks to join metal components according to project specifications.
Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment or structural elements.
Carry out carpentry work including framing, finishing, and installing fixtures.
Conduct roofing activities such as replacing shingles or repairing leaks.
Handle heavy lifting safely during material transportation and installation processes.
Assist with masonry work including laying bricks, blocks, or stonework.
Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or equipment when required.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all activities to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proven experience with welding techniques and the use of related equipment.
Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and screwdrivers.
Competence in operating power tools including drills, saws, and grinders.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Experience in carpentry tasks such as framing, finishing carpentry, or cabinetry.
Knowledge of roofing systems and repair methods.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on-site.
Valid commercial driving licence preferred for transporting materials or equipment.
Skills in masonry work including bricklaying or stone setting are advantageous. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the physical capability to undertake demanding tasks across multiple trades. Qualifications

Pay: £15.00-£16.50 per hour
