Join Our Engineering Team
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Maintenance Planner to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong planning, administration and CMMS experience to play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of preventative and planned maintenance activities across our site.
Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will be responsible for the development and management of maintenance systems, engineering stores, asset registers, contractor management processes, and maintenance planning activities that support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As Maintenance Planner, you will:

Manage, develop and maintain the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Ensure the site asset register is accurate, current and fully maintained.
- Maintain contractor records, including RAMS, permits to work, insurance documentation and associated files.
- Manage the engineering stores system and ensure integration with the CMMS.
- Oversee quarantine procedures for replacement parts and equipment.
- Support the purchasing of engineering parts and the coordination of contract labour.
- Produce timely weekly and monthly maintenance reports and KPIs.
- Coordinate and allocate planned maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM) and plant improvement (PI) activities.
- Monitor task completion and escalate outstanding actions where necessary.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, method statements and engineering checklists.
- Ensure equipment and processes operate safely and effectively within designated areas.
- Promote best practices in food safety, product quality, hygiene and health & safety.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and other departments to drive site performance.

- Shift-based manufacturing experience.
- Forklift licence.
- IOSH qualification.
- Basic Food Safety qualification.
