Overview

Seeking a talented individual to join as a professional hair stylist and barber on a self employed basis. In this energetic role, you will bring your passion for hair styling and barbering to create exceptional looks for clients. Your excellent communication skills will ensure every customer feels valued and understood, while your customer service expertise will foster a welcoming and relaxed environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills, grow your career, and make a positive impact through personalized hair care and grooming services.

Responsibilities

Provide hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
Consult with clients to understand their desired looks, offering professional advice and recommendations
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station in compliance with health and safety standards
Build strong relationships with clients through friendly communication and attentive service
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and maintained for optimal performance
Good timekeeping and tidy appearance

Skills

Some experience in customer service within a salon or barber shop setting preferred
Strong communication skills to clearly understand client needs and explain styling options
Certified or a level of experience in barbering practices with an eye for detail
Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £200.00-£600.00 per week
