Quayside Care are looking for one exceptional individual to join our wonderful team as a Home Care and Supported Living Team Leader.
The successful applicant will be caring, compassionate, honest, reliable and enthusiastic and must have a minimum of a level 3 qualification within Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this qualification and must have good IT skills and will be supported with a Level 4 and 5 Qualification should the successful applicant wish to progress further.
The successful applicant will be required to have strong communication skills, work as part of a team and independently, be able to work efficiently and effectively displaying initiative.
Main Responsibilities of a Home Care and Supported Living Team Leader
include but are not limited to:
- Service User Reviews
- Employee Supervision
- Care planning and Initial Assessments
- Make the relevant and appropriate referrals for service user's to improve their social value
- Supporting Management with any other tasks required to meet the needs of the business and to ensure that a high standard is being achieved in a person centered way.
Additional tasks may also include:
- Personal Care
- Medication Management
- Meal Preparation
- Light Domestic Duties
- Emotional Support
- Assisting Service User's to access the community
- Assisting Service User's to access meaningful activities
- Assisting Service User's to meet their individual goal
- Assisting Service User's to access education
- Ensuring that all care and support is delivered in a person-centered way at all times
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a disclosure and barring check. 100% of the cost for the DBS will be paid for by the employer.
A full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is a requirement for this role.
Rates of Pay will be £14.75 per hour and out of hours weekend phone expenses. Expenses are paid at 45p per mile travelled and rates of pay are regularly reviewed and increased when possible.
Holiday entitlement is calculated on the shifts worked each week (January-December).
This role will be working 5 days over 7 days (Includes working some weekends and being available to be on-call which is a set rolling Rota).
