Full job description

Driver / Fire Alarm Engineer Support

Location base: Kingston upon Thames
Driving location: London and surrounding areas
Starting Salary: £28,000
Hours: flexibly between 7am to 7pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and occasionally weekends
Vehicle: Van will be provided

Fire Systems Ltd, based in Kingston, is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our company working in London and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Collecting and delivering materials from site to site
Assisting with servicing devices under guidance of Fire Alarm Engineers
Attending stockists to purchase/collect materials
Assisting with call outs if required
Assisting engineers with ladder support and other high-level equipment.
Collecting materials for recycling
Supporting the Stores team with day-to-day stockroom tasks when required
Assisting with packing and preparing materials for delivery
Helping to arrange and process material collections and deliveries
Providing flexible support between office/store tasks and on-road duties

Eligibility Criteria

You must have:

Strong communication skills
Up to date with information technology
A full clean driving licence
Substantial previous driving experience
Good timekeeping
Work flexibly; evenings and weekends at short notice.
Live within 10-mile radius of Kingston upon Thames
