Receptionist/Administration Assistant

We are a visionary, forward-thinking and progressive GP practice in Dalston, Carlisle looking to recruit a receptionist / administration assistant.

An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and innovative practice, working 22 hours weekly. Monday 8am -1pm, Tuesday 10am -4pm, Wednesday 2.30pm -6.30pm and Friday 12pm -6pm. The post provides a wide range of medical reception and clerical work support.

Previous experience of working within the NHS and customer care is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

To project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors and deal with queries in a professional, courteous and efficient way. Flexibility with hours essential.

The post holder will have excellent customer service skills and be computer literate. You will work as part of the practice team in a busy and sometimes challenging environment. We will support and encourage you to develop your skills to be a high valued member of the team.

We work in shifts between 7.15am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
