Herd Manager/Senior Herdsperson
Take on day to day management for cows and grass in a 360 head spring-calving herd.
We are looking for someone keen to take responsibility, progress their career and set high standards across all areas of the business.

- 360 cows, 8 week spring block calving.

Current business aims
- Accelerating genetic progress of our herd to achieve exceptional production from minimal imported feed.
- Introducing new genetic technology to develop our bull breeding business.
- Developing proactive environmental & biodiversity plans across the farm.
- Adopting progressive farming techniques including multi species leys, white clover incorporation/fertiliser reduction and a new soil health strategy.
- Upgrading farm infrastructure to achieve simple day to day routines.
- Implementing personal, tailored training plans for each member of our team to ensure maximum opportunity to achieve personal & career goals.
