Job description

Job Title: Trainee Scaffolder
Location: United Downs,Redruth, Cornwall
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About Us:
At LTC Specialist Scaffolding Ltd, we provide scaffolding solutions for a wide range of construction projects, from homes to commercial buildings. We’re passionate about developing new talent and are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Trainee Scaffolders. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the scaffolding industry with full training and support along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist our experienced scaffolders in building and taking down scaffolding structures.
Learn how to safely handle scaffolding materials and tools.
Be trained on how to follow health and safety guidelines and ensure the safety of the team and the worksite.
Work outdoors in a team environment, learning on the job.
Progress in your skills and take on more responsibility as you gain experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in scaffolding or a related construction field is preferred but not essential.
A strong interest in learning and starting a career in construction.
Ability to follow instructions and learn from experienced professionals.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
A positive attitude, team-oriented, and reliable.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
A valid driving license is required and you will need to able to get to and from the yard yourself, with your own transport. Please note; no busses run to the depot or nearby.
H&S for operatives test advantageous.
