Join Our Growing Team
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Fire & Flood Support Technician to join our expanding restoration team. You'll assist our experienced technicians in responding to fire, flood and escape of water incidents across domestic and commercial properties, helping customers recover from property damage.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines working on-site with working in our contents restoration facility. No two days are the same, and full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians on fire, flood and water damage restoration projects.
- Drive company vans safely to and from customer sites.
- Load, unload and transport specialist restoration equipment.
- Set up, monitor and remove drying and restoration equipment.
- Carry out strip-out, cleaning and restoration works within damaged properties.
- Carefully pack customers' belongings ready for removal from site.
- Produce detailed inventories of customer contents prior to removal and storage.
- Transport customer contents safely to our restoration facility.
- Clean, restore and deodorise customers' contents within our specialist restoration facility.
- Prepare cleaned contents for storage or return to customers.
- Complete job paperwork and use mobile devices to record work carried out.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality and health & safety.
- Deliver excellent customer service and treat customers' homes and belongings with care and respect.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must be eligible to drive company vans under our motor insurance policy.
- Comfortable driving both short and long distances.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying equipment and customer belongings safely.
- Reliable, punctual and well organised.
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and overtime when required.
- Previous experience in restoration, removals, construction, labouring, warehousing or a similar practical role would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
