Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join DA MARIU'. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on creating high-quality pizzas that delight our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to the overall dining experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting delicious pizzas while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

DutieS

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service
Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during food preparation and cooking processes

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting
Previous experience working as a pizza chef or in a pizzeria is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Familiarity with culinary techniques related to meal preparation and presentation
Experience working under pressure in a busy environment, demonstrating organisational skills
Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

WEEKDAYS/ WEEKENDS/ EVENINGS

Pay: £12.71-£19.27 per hour
