Artisan Bread Baker – Wren & Raven
We’re looking for an experienced Artisan Bread Baker to help build something special.
At Wren & Raven, we’re passionate about quality, traditional baking and creating products that people genuinely get excited about. We’re looking for someone who shares that passion and wants to play a key role in developing our bakery.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced baker with a love of artisan breads, long fermentations and handcrafted products.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing artisan breads from scratch, including sourdoughs, tin loaves, focaccia, baguettes and other speciality breads.
- Mixing, shaping, proving and baking to consistently high standards.
- Helping to develop new seasonal and speciality bread products.
- Managing production to ensure our shelves remain well stocked without compromising quality.
- Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
It would be a huge advantage if you also have experience producing laminated pastries such as croissants, pain au chocolat and Danish pastries, although this isn’t essential for the right person.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in artisan bread production.
- Has a genuine passion for traditional baking methods and quality ingredients.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Enjoys being creative and contributing ideas as our bakery continues to grow.

Pay is negotiable based on experience and accomodation can potentially be discussed for the right candidate
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
