We are looking for a hardworking and adaptable Housekeeper/Cleaning Technician to join our core team, working across a variety of general and specialist jobs in the Penzance/West Cornwall area. We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused Housekeeper/Cleaning Technician to join our team, specialising initially in holiday let changeovers with a view to taking on regular domestic and commercial clients and supporting on larger cleans (construction, deep cleans etc).
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, working independently and as a team and who wants to grow with a company that values effort and reliability.
The Role:
- Domestic, commercial, holiday let, end of tenancy and builders cleans to a consistently high standard
- Optional specialist biohazard cleans (with enhanced pay rate)
- Regular solo work and working as part of a team on larger jobs
- Work will involve weekends and school holidays as well as weekdays

- Comfortable working alone and managing your own time within a clean
- Comfortable working as part of a team and taking instruction
- Able to follow systems, checklists and health and safety procedures
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to learn new skills
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle is essential to travel to properties across West Cornwall and beyond for larger jobs
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Physically fit and happy with hands-on work
- Will pass a DBS check
Pay And Progression
- PAYE position (self-employed applicants not considered for this role)
- £13.50/hour during probation, increasing to £13.70 once passed
- Part-time variable hours initially
- Opportunity to increase hours and responsibilities for the right person
- Additional pay for longer travel where applicable
- Enhanced pay rate for biohazard cleans
