Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Duct/Extract Cleaning Technician and become a vital part of maintaining clean, safe, and efficient ventilation systems across various commercial and industrial facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and inspecting ductwork and extract systems to ensure optimal air quality and system performance. Your hands-on expertise will help create healthier environments while supporting the overall safety standards of our clients. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work with specialized tools and equipment in a fast-paced, rewarding setting.

Duties

Use hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques to access and clean ductwork and exhaust systems effectively
Inspect ventilation systems for blockages, buildup, or damage, documenting findings accurately
Remove dust, debris, grease, and other contaminants from ducts and extract units to improve air quality
Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning procedures to ensure a secure work environment
Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of duct components as needed for thorough cleaning or repairs
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including before-and-after photos and inspection reports
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards

Qualifications

Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction practices is highly desirable
Prior construction or maintenance experience is a strong plus
Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively in confined spaces
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments
Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and document work accurately
