We are seeking an experienced Head of Claims Management to lead the investigation and resolution of product liability claims, product safety incidents, and regulatory matters across our motorcycle and accessories portfolio. Acting as a key link between Engineering, Quality, Legal, Customer Services, insurers, and regulatory authorities, you will drive effective risk management, support product safety initiatives, oversee recalls and field actions where required, and help shape best practice across the global organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the investigation and resolution of product liability claims, incidents, and litigation.
- Develop and implement global processes for the effective intake, assessment, investigation, and management of product-related claims.
- Oversee the collection, preservation, and management of evidence relating to product incidents and failures.
- Coordinate technical investigations with internal teams and external experts.
- Manage relationships with legal counsel, technical specialists, insurers, and brokers.
- Act as the primary liaison with product liability insurers and brokers.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Aftersales, and Customer Services to identify root causes and address product safety concerns.
- Lead responses to regulatory investigations, compliance reviews, and information requests.
- Prepare and submit defect reports, technical analyses, and incident investigation findings.
- Coordinate product recalls and field actions across multiple markets, ensuring timely statutory reporting and compliance.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Degree educated in Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with insurers, legal teams, and external investigators.
- Experience managing product liability claims within the automotive, motorcycle, aerospace, consumer products, or manufacturing sectors.
- Knowledge of leading complex cross-functional investigations.
- Experience engaging with agencies such as NHTSA, Transport Canada, European market surveillance authorities, and other international safety regulators would be advantageous.
- A full motorcycle licence and experience as a rider would be desirable.
- Strong leadership and team development skills are essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, evidence-based approach to analysis.
Hours of Work:
Our 39-hour working week (Monday to Friday) includes core hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, flexible start and finish times, and an early 1:00pm finish on Fridays.
