Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:45pm
Saturday: 7:30am–11:30am

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks
- Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Carry out welding and equipment repair as needed to restore vehicle integrity
- Assist with vehicle assembly and modifications when required
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to prolong vehicle lifespan
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed in accordance with company procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering advice on vehicle care
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialised diagnostic machinery
- Experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, and repair practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or equipment
- Good understanding of electrical systems within vehicles and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Organised approach to work with attention to detail in recording service history and diagnostics
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £26,095.00-£43,000.00 per year
