Full job description

At Scotfast Accounts, we are dedicated to providing high-quality bookkeeping services to our clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant to join our small team on a part-time basis. The role can be worked over any mid-week days, and hours can be created to suit the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities·

Bank Statement Reconciliation
Processing Purchase & Sales Invoices
Liaising with clients to gather necessary paperwork
Payroll using BrightPay Software
Weekly Expenses Reconciliation

Experience & Skills Required:

Microsoft Office Proficiency
Accounting Software Experience – Xero or Quickbooks preferred but not essential
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with previous data entry or accounting experience.
Organisational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Problem-Solving Ability: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems efficiently.
Positive Attitude: A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with a passion for learning and improving skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15.00-£16.85 per hour
