We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Physiotherapist with a strong interest in neurorehabilitation to join the Fife Stroke & Neuro Rehabilitation Service. This post forms part of the new integrated stroke and neurorehabilitation model for Fife, which brings together services across the region to deliver high quality, person centred rehabilitation and support the ongoing development of this specialist area.
About the Role
This new Band 7 post offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of the service while working closely with fellow Band 7 Physiotherapists within the speciality, Clinical Leads and the wider multidisciplinary team. You will provide clinical leadership within your clinical area, supporting physiotherapy staff and contributing to the delivery of safe, effective and coordinated patient care.
You will play a key role in optimising patient pathways from assessment through to discharge, ensuring smooth patient flow and delivering high quality neurorehabilitation to adults with a wide range of neurological conditions.
Service Overview
The Fife Stroke & Neuro Rehabilitation Service provides inpatient, outpatient and community based rehabilitation across Fife. Inpatient beds are located at Queen Margaret Hospital (QMH) and Glenrothes Hospital. This post is currently based within the 20 bedded inpatient ward at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.
Conditions managed within the service include Stroke, Acquired brain injury, Major trauma, Spinal cord injury, and other complex neurological conditions
