About Trade Mastermind
Trade Mastermind is one of the UK's fastest-growing business education and funding platforms for trades and home improvement businesses. We help thousands of business owners scale through training, events and finance solutions.
We're hiring a Commercial Analyst to sit at the heart of the business, challenge every department, and make each one measurably better. This is a senior, high-influence role with a direct line to the CFO and board, and a clear path to Commercial Finance Director.
This isn't traditional accounting. This is finance that drives revenue, sharpens operations, and shapes strategy.
Your job? Make every department great — and make your stakeholders look like rock stars.
The Role
You will partner directly with the leaders of Sales, Events, Customer Accounts and Marketing, using financial, sales and customer data to challenge assumptions, expose what's really working, and drive better decisions at pace.
You won't just report the numbers. You'll dig into the operation, understand the process behind every metric, and tell each department head what to do next — then help them deliver it.
As the senior Commercial Analyst lead, you'll set the standard for how we partner the business: building the automations and reporting infrastructure that make us faster and leaner, mentoring more junior finance staff, and acting as a key player in our growth initiatives and M&A as we scale.
You'll be the bridge between finance, operations and strategy — translating data into “what should we do next?”
