We are currently recruiting for a
Transport Clerk to join a fast-paced and dynamic transport operation. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe, legal, and efficient running of our transport function, supporting the Duty FLM and Transport Manager with all administrative and operational requirements.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Support First Line Managers (FLMs) with the accurate and timely briefing and debriefing of drivers
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance, promoting and maintaining the highest standards across operations
- Prepare and reconcile delivery paperwork, including Proofs of Delivery (PODs)
- Manage Tachomaster administration and reporting
- Support DHL training processes and licence checking
- Ensure vehicle history files are maintained and up to date
- Provide general administration support for both the fleet and driver teams
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment desirable
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Computer literate, confident using systems and transport software
- A proactive team player with good communication skills
- Ambitious and motivated
- Are friendly and can build a good rapport with drivers
