As our Website department continues to expand, we’re looking for a proactive and organised Website Project Manager to help lead project delivery, client communication and operational coordination across the team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoys managing multiple moving projects and takes pride in keeping both clients and internal teams aligned, informed and on track.
Alongside managing website projects from onboarding through to launch, this role will also play an important part in overseeing our website support, maintenance and ticket workflows, helping ensure requests are prioritised correctly, communicated clearly and delivered efficiently.
You’ll become a key part of the department, helping maintain strong delivery standards, improving internal coordination and ensuring clients receive a professional, proactive and organised experience throughout every stage of their project.
This is a full-time role based at our office in Lynch Wood, Peterborough, with hybrid working considered.

The Role
The Website Project Manager is responsible for helping ensure the smooth delivery of website projects, maintenance work and support requests across the department.
This role combines project management, client communication, operational coordination and delivery oversight to help ensure projects remain on track, deadlines are met and clients stay informed throughout the process.
You’ll work closely with designers, developers, account managers and the wider operations team to coordinate priorities, resolve challenges and drive projects forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Project Management
- Manage website projects from onboarding through to launch
- Coordinate project timelines, milestones and deliverables
- Ensure projects remain on track, within scope and aligned to deadlines
- Identify risks, blockers or delays early and help drive solutions
- Manage project briefs, requirements and supporting documentation
- Support website QA processes and final delivery standards
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for website clients throughout projects
- Provide regular proactive updates via email, calls and meetings
- Manage client expectations clearly and professionally
- Run project meetings, capture actions and ensure follow-up tasks are completed
- Request and manage required content, feedback and approvals from clients
Ticket Desk & Maintenance Oversight
- Ensure maintenance work is progressing efficiently and communicated clearly
- Coordinate with developers and the operations team to manage workload and deadlines
- Monitor ticket progress and help maintain strong response and delivery standards
Internal Coordination & Delivery Oversight
- Work closely with developers and designers to keep projects progressing
- Help ensure tasks are correctly scheduled and prioritised
- Monitor project pacing, budgets and utilisation across active work
- Maintain accurate documentation and project records within internal systems
- Support the continued improvement of internal website processes and workflows
- Help ensure the team maintains high standards of communication, organisation and accountability
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in website project management, digital project management or agency account/project coordination
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence managing clients professionally and proactively
- Ability to work well under pressure within a busy agency environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery priorities
- A positive, proactive and solutions-focused attitude
Ideally You’ll Also Have
- Experience working within a digital marketing or web design agency
- Understanding of website design and development processes
- Experience using project management systems such as Teamwork or similar
- Experience coordinating maintenance/support workflows or ticket systems

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
