We are a friendly, independent small animal veterinary practice located right by the seafront in beautiful Bexhill-on-Sea. Launched during the challenges of lock down as a mobile service, we’ve since grown into a fully equipped, modern practice with a strong and loyal client base. Our brand-new surgery is purpose-built, and we’re proud of the supportive community that has helped us thrive.
Our dedicated team of vets, nurses, and care assistants work closely with visiting specialists to deliver excellent veterinary care, without the pressure of sales targets or care plan quotas. We believe in good old-fashioned, patient-first veterinary medicine.
We’re proud to offer fantastic facilities, including a full IDEXX in-house lab, ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental suite, and more(CT scanner due soon). We're always happy to invest in both our equipment and our team’s development to support clinical excellence and personal growth.
The Role
We are looking for a full-time experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our growing team. This is a permanent position, working 4 days per week, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. There are no out-of-hours, and we are always closed on Bank Holidays.
We could also consider shorter shifts, like morning shifts.
You'll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team where your ideas and initiative will be valued. The role offers the opportunity to be hands-on in all aspects of nursing—from theater and inpatient care to nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures (if desired). We encourage professional development and are happy to support areas of clinical interest.
We are a practice where roles are quite mixed, so you will see vets picking up phones if needed. You will see the boss getting angry at times, so managing stress is important. PS: the boss can be told off if you have a strong point.
