Are you a recently Occupational Therapist looking to embark on a rewarding career, where you are supported in everything you do? If so, join Pinhoe View in Exeter on a 9 month fixed term contract. Pinhoe View is purpose-built facility where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards and eight individual flat

You will be a part of an environment that has a strong emphasis on teamwork and will enjoy hands-on experience, receiving guidance and supervision from experienced healthcare professionals. You will have continuous access to a range of training opportunities to move your career forward.

Under supervision, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating evidence-based group and individual programmes. You will create individual rapports with service users to empower recovery.

A range of training opportunities are available that can see your career grow and you achieve your career aspirations

As an Occupational Therapist you will be:

Providing comprehensive OT assessments.
Under supervision, planning and reviewing OT treatment programmes.
Under supervision, identifying and actioning referrals both in-house, including support staff, and to external agencies
Supporting the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols at Pinhoe View.
Ensuring that contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained following professional and services standards.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
A UK HCPC registration or applied for
Evidence of ability to research, plan, implement and evaluate a project for specific groups
Effective written/verbal communication skills

Location: Pinhoe View, College Way, EXETER, EX1 3PZ

Join the team at Pinhoe View - a purpose-built facility where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards.

The 24-hour acute inpatient service is supported by a full multidisciplinary team, which specialises in the assessment, treatment and stabilisation of people suffering from a significant mental health episode and in crisis.

Clinical and therapeutic services at Pinhoe View are delivered in a safe environment, providing the opportunity for recovery, while rehabilitation services provide a pathway of care supporting individuals back to their community
