Full job description

The rental department has a vacancy for a “Rental Administrator’’ of our long established, busy Launceston office. Our Launceston office occupies a prominent town centre location and handles a wide range of properties, modern, traditional town houses, family homes, an excellent Fine & Country business and new homes.

The successful candidate will form part of a team that work closely together to ensure the smooth running of the office, being prepared to support our team, to ensure that service standards and targets are met. This is a people facing role and therefore an outgoing and positive attitude is essential, with customer facing experience a distinct advantage. Smart business-like appearance and a clean driving licence are essential.

Other key duties will include:

Handling phone calls for all departments.
Liaising with a vast customer client base including Landlords, tenants, contractors and applicants.
Completing various administrative tasks.
Actively using our CRM system REAPIT to ensure accurate recording of information.
Work in collaboration with Webbers offices, Depts and referring clients to our partners.
Assisting with general office support.
Working to high standards in-line with company/industry compliance.
Being prepared to contribute to branch social media content.

Skill sets and attitude

A successful Rental Administrator must demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and engagement in the business. In today’s world of modern estate agency, be prepared to adopt new and innovative marketing methods introduced by the company positively. Other favourable attributes would include:

An eye for detail
High standards of customer service
Determined
Consistent
Kind and caring – “people do business with people they like”
Full driving licence and own vehicle essential
Supporting property marketing, including social media

The hours of work

This is a part-time position, hours of work will be 9:30am – 2:30pm plus 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis, 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Salary

There will be a Salary “range” that will be discussed at interview stage, this will alter depending on the experience/knowledge of the successful candidate
