This position is for a day sit of various shift patterns. Which are 09:00 - 13:30. and 14:00 - 20:45 shifts between Monday and Friday and every other weekend to sit and care with a lady in her own home.

Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment
Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure documentation is up-to-date
Assist with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as required
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Uphold health and safety standards in all aspects of work

Requirements

Previous experience working in a care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
