At Montpelier Primary School, we are seeking a committed Catering Assistant to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school.

This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the daily life of the school, providing essential support that enables pupils, staff and the wider school community to thrive. Your work will have a meaningful impact on creating a positive and successful learning environment.

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the school kitchen, helping to provide nutritious, high-quality meals for our pupils. Working as part of a friendly and supportive catering team, you will play an important role in ensuring the kitchen operates safely, efficiently and in line with food hygiene standards.

Main duties of the role include:

Assisting with the preparation and cooking of school meals.
Presenting and serving food and beverages to pupils in a friendly and efficient manner.
Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and catering environment in accordance with food hygiene regulations.

We are looking for an individual who:

Has a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering a high-quality catering service.
