We’re committed to growth and excellence, and we’re now looking for a talented Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our expanding team.
We’re seeking a motivated and client-focused lawyer to join our busy Private Client team. You’ll manage your own caseload and contribute to the department’s continued success, delivering exceptional legal services that exceed expectations.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tavistock—our clients value face-to-face service, and so do we.
- Deliver exceptional legal services that exceed client expectations and reflect our “It’s all about you” philosophy
- Draft Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Manage Estate and Trust Administration
- Advise on Inheritance Tax Planning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party referrers
- Handle your own fee-earning work independently and collaboratively
- Ensure compliance with SRA standards and firm policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using our case management system
- Take financial responsibility for your matters, including billing and cash flow
- Contribute to business development and help grow the Private Client department
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to cross-refer work and support client needs
- Actively seek opportunities to develop your legal expertise and professional skills
- Uphold our firm’s values and contribute to a positive, client-focused culture
Essential:
- 3–5 years PQE in private client work
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent client-facing and relationship-building abilities
- Good IT skills and technical proficiency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- STEP qualification
- SFE accreditation
- Experience with case management systems
- Full, clean driving licence (travel to clients required)
