Salary will be dependant on the candidates experience and bonuses will be paid quarterly based on project performance.
Job description
Electrical Project Manager
This is the ideal role for someone who ideally has 3+ years as a Project Manager, ideally in the electrical D&B office fit out industry working on projects £250k+. The candidate will be working closely with our Contract Directors and will have a client facing role.
The project Manager will be responsible for receiving a project from pre- construction and developing the design to construction, completing technical submittals and design development. The candidate will be responsible for taking the project to construction phase through to handover, issuing project progress reports, variations and attending monthly project and forecasting meetings.
He/she will normally live within 60 minutes commuting time from our Tunbridge Wells office, where he/she will be based, and be willing to travel reasonable distances to visit sites by train or car. He/she will be willing and able to approach our well established customer base to initiate future enquires and projects.
Attributes needed:-
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of the electrical installation industry
- Ability to read and understand architectural plans and drawings
- Experience in managing the construction, H&S and Financials on the Projects
- Good computer skills, with a knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications, such as MS word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation with a competent level of English for written and spoken communication required to relay information effectively to senior and junior team members and clients.
Qualifications needed:-
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulation certified
- Test & Inspection 2391 (optional)
- Level 2 and 3 Electrical Installation certified
- HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Optional)
- ECS or CSCS Trained
- SMSTS or equivalent
- Full UK Driver’s License.
- Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
