Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a keen eye for quality control. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating workflows, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet daily operational goals.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are upheld.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including training on machinery, tools, and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs or hazards.
- Organise shift schedules, assign tasks, and manage workflow to optimise productivity.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, incidents, and equipment maintenance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand machinery operation and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in assembly processes and warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing technology or related fields are advantageous. Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
