An exciting opportunity has presented itself and we are keen to seek the right candidates to support the growth of the EHCP Team in Shropshire, to make sure that children, young people and their families, get the right support at the right time.
As an EHCP Case Officer you are the first point of contact for children, young people and their families for the statutory EHCP processes.
The post holder will maintain a caseload, set up and maintain positive and professional working relationships and work in partnership with families and partners, whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
You will be responsible for administering statutory processes linked to the statutory assessment process, Education, Health and Care Plan legislation, including writing and amending EHCPs in accordance with The Children and Families Act 2014 and SEN Code of Practice January 2015 and locally agreed quality standards.
