We are the largest independent washroom service and clinical waste management company in the South Wales region and are seeking appointment of a motivated individual to join our team.
FULL TIME 7.5t COMMERCIAL VEHICLE DRIVER** required for collections of clinical waste & sharps containers from residential homes, hospitals, universities, clinics etc. Other tasks within the yard and warehouse may be required ie: loading/unloading of vehicles as the business needs require.
Vehicle licence requirements:
You will be required to hold a full clean licence and show evidence on your cv of work related driving experience.
Candidates must hold the following category licence :
- Category C1 licence (old Category A) candidates who are licensed to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
- Hold an up to date CPC qualification
ADR accreditation is favourable but not essential. Opportunities will be available to the successful candidate to obtain ADR (Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) accreditation also if commitment is shown to their position.
Immediate start
Hours of work: Five Day Week 5am/6am - 1pm Start time will vary seasonally and can be discussed at interview, length of day can vary between 8 & 10 hours and Bank Holiday working may be required on a rota basis.
Full in house and peer coaching is provided and all staff are fully supported by our Operations team. We offer an hourly rate of £13.10 per hour, additionally a non-contractual discretionary customer service bonus is paid quarterly increasing the hourly rate to £14.40, this is available subject to meeting specified criteria. Overtime paid over 40 hours worked. Full details will be provided at the interview stage. 20 days annual leave per annum (pro rata) excluding public bank holidays are provided.
