About the Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Senior GIS Analyst to join our growing Cardiff team.
➡️ Working alongside a close-knit team of geospatial professionals, you'll take a key role in delivering GIS projects from concept through to completion while helping expand our presence across Wales.
➡️ You'll combine strong technical expertise with project leadership skills, working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
➡️ This role isn't solely about delivery. You'll also have the opportunity to:
Develop new client relationships and identify growth opportunities
Support winning bids and business development activities
Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders
Mentor junior colleagues and help grow team capability
Drive innovation and champion best practice across the wider business
Influence how geospatial technology is applied across major projects
Whether you're presenting solutions to senior stakeholders, developing innovative Web GIS applications or steering project teams through tasks, you'll play a central role in helping clients and communities thrive.
Here's what you'll need
✅ Proven experience leading GIS projects from initiation through delivery
✅ Strong expertise using ArcGIS Pro
✅ Proven experience with Web GIS including ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal and/or ArcGIS Online
✅ Experience managing project programmes, resources, budgets and delivery
✅ Business development experience, including building client relationships and identifying opportunities
✅ A degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
✅ Ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences
✅ Passion for mentoring and supporting developing talent
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness
