Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship – Level 5 – Kidscape, Deputy Manager Role
Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship at Kidscape, Poole.
Requirements;
- A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS
- You must have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent

Pre School - In Puffins there are many opportunities for children to learn through play and exploration. These opportunities are linked to the children's own ideas, but also includes introductions to phonics, maths, marking making but most of all to the children's Personal, Social and Emotional Development skills. We want to encourage children to ask questions, use their problem solving and reasoning skills and seek answers and ultimately foster a love of learning that will continue throughout their life.
Our Stories in the Spring term are all linked to Land of imagination.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- To provide high quality care and early years learning experience for the children at Kidscape Club.
- To work under the direction of the manager and deputise her as and when required.
- To provide leadership, support and management to the other staff.
- To support the aims and objectives of the club and assist the manager in the organisation of a high quality establishment for the children.
- To assist in monitoring and review of the provision, this includes providing a safe, caring environment to enable the emotional, social, physical and educational development of children through individual and group activities.
- To assist in the leading and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and any other legal/statutory framework.
- To promote the high standards of the club at all times to parents, staff and visitors.
- To ensure the provision of high standards of physical and emotional care.
- To ensure that the welfare and safety of children is paramount within the setting and any child protection concerns are always appropriately acted upon immediately, following LSCB guidelines.
- To lead a team of professional workers and to ensure good practice at all times, including staff induction, supervision and appraisal.
Hours;
- Kidscape is open from 7:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
- The successful candidate will be required to work 31 - 38 hours per week
