About the Role

This is a production leadership position with full ownership of a high-volume operation, responsible for converting vehicles into revenue at pace, at scale, and at margin.

You will take control of one of the UK’s most advanced automotive reverse production facilities, leading multi-functional teams.

On your shift, you run the factory.

You are accountable for output, labour cost, operational flow and standards — in real time.

Own and lead a complex, high-throughput production environment
Directly influence daily revenue and operational profitability
Build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, non-stop operation
Be part of a business scaling a unique production model within the automotive sector
Clear pathway into senior operations leadership for high performers

This role sits at the centre of our growth. The right individuals will progress quickly.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Delivering daily production output in line with plan
Owning labour deployment, productivity and cost control across the shift
Managing flow across multiple operational areas to remove bottlenecks in real time
Driving parts recovery performance and protecting contribution margin
Maintaining operational standards, discipline and pace across all teams
Leading safety, compliance and immediate response to operational issues
Embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

You are not managing activity — you are delivering results.

What Success Looks Like

Consistent delivery of vehicle throughput targets
Stable, predictable flow from vehicle intake to parts-to-shelf
High labour productivity with controlled overtime
Reduced damage, scrap and rework
Strong shift discipline and ownership culture
Clear, data-led decision making under pressure

About You

You are already operating in a high-volume production, manufacturing or processing environment and are ready to step into a role with greater ownership and scale.

You will likely have:

Experience leading large teams (directly or through team leaders)
A track record of delivering output in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Strong operational judgement — able to make decisions quickly and confidently
Understanding of productivity, cost and performance — not just process
A bias for action and a focus on results over activity

Backgrounds we value:

Automotive manufacturing
FMCG / high-volume production
Recycling / waste processing
Logistics or distribution at scale

Lean or continuous improvement experience is beneficial, but not essential — mindset matters more.

IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) desirable.

What We Offer

£45,000 – £55,000 base salary (depending on experience)
Shift allowance
