This role focuses on transport planning linked to new developments, regeneration projects and sustainable travel improvements.

Main duties:

Review and provide advice on:
planning applications
transport assessments
travel plans
development proposals
Assess the transport impacts of new housing, commercial and regeneration schemes.
Negotiate with developers to secure improvements such as:
walking routes
cycling facilities
public transport improvements
safer streets
Provide professional transport planning advice to planning teams.
Support major transport infrastructure and regeneration projects.
Prepare reports and recommendations for decision makers.
Work with:
planners
engineers
developers
consultants
community stakeholders.

Skills/experience expected:

Salary based on experience

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
