About Us

A1 Group Transport Ltd is one of the fastest-growing haulage companies in South Wales, providing transport solutions to the hire and construction industries. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our friendly team.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm (Hours may be negotiable for the right candidate).

The Role

We are looking for an organised and experienced Accounts Administrator who has an excellent working knowledge of Sage and can confidently manage the day-to-day accounts function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, has exceptional attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Managing sales and purchase ledgers
Raising invoices and processing supplier invoices
Credit control and customer account management
Bank reconciliations
Processing payments and receipts
Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage
Assisting with month-end procedures
General office administration and filing
Answering telephone and email enquiries when required
Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in an accounts or finance administration role
Excellent working knowledge of Sage (essential)
Confident managing invoicing, purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritise workload

Desirable

Experience within the transport, logistics or construction sector
