Full job description

Estate Capital is one of Swansea’s leading Chartered Financial Advice and Wealth Management firms. We are offering a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and organised individual to join a highly motivated, dedicated and professional team in a well-established but dynamic financial services business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Managing, recording and reporting the firm’s income

· Processing and reconciling fees and commissions.

· Investigating queries.

· In house book-keeping, preparing monthly management accounts using sage and assisting annual audits.

· Reporting management information to the monthly board meetings

· Preparing income and expenditure forecasts.

· Meeting month end and year end accounting requirements.

· Maintain accurate financial records.

· Manage correspondence efficiently and professionally.

· Support the monthly payments to financial advisers

· Taking board minutes, editing and circulating.

REQUIREMENTS

· Attention to Detail: Precision in handling data is crucial.

· Excellent Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication to interact effectively with clients and team members.

· Proactive: Ability to use initiative and to work independently as well as part of a team is essential. Demonstrating a positive can-do attitude.

· Bring Automation: to the job role and reporting functions

· Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and enjoy a diverse workload.

· Confidentiality: A good understanding of confidentiality is required.

· Highly Accurate: a meticulous attention to detail.

· Proficient IT Skills: working with Microsoft office suite and CRM systems.

· Willingness to learn and a desire to progress.

DESIRABLE

· Confident using IT such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Ability to learn a range of software. Training will be given on industry-specific software.

· Previous experience of maintaining financial records. Full training will be given.

· Starting salary from £28,000 to £35,000 per year depending on skills and experience.
