Full job description

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at our Portadown site, preparing high quality meats for our customers. The ideal candidate will be experienced in food production with the necessary skills. Experience with beef is required.

Duties:

- Proficient in trimming and slicing Prime Cuts and portioning meat according to specific customer or production requirements.

- De bone beef to specification required

- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of meat preparation

- Operate butchery equipment safely and efficiently

- Assist in stock control

- Maintain cleanliness in the work area

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Butcher in a similar role or environment

- Knowledge of various cuts of beef and proper butchery techniques

- Understanding of health and food safety regulations

- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail

Working hours -

Monday to Friday 5AM > 2PM (1 day off midweek)

Saturday 5AM >12

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,160.00 per year
