The Student Hub is seeking two passionate and motivated Student Hub Coordinators to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a Student Hub Coordinator, you will manage a caseload of students with complex or multifaceted circumstances, providing proactive support to overcome barriers to success and enhance student engagement, progression and retention. Acting as a key point of contact, you will deliver specialist advice and guidance across a range of areas, including fees and funding, accommodation, academic progression, wellbeing and disability support. You will work closely with colleagues across the University to coordinate timely and effective support tailored to individual student needs.
You will use engagement data and student information to identify those at risk of disengagement, working collaboratively with specialist services to support positive outcomes. The role also involves promoting the Student Hub through communications, events and outreach activities.
The role requires flexibility to work a rotating 7-hour shift pattern between 08:00 and 18:00 across Student Hub locations, including Winchester. Occasional evening and weekend working will also be required.

You will have:

Knowledge of higher education and the challenges affecting students from a wide range of backgrounds.

Experience providing advice, guidance or support in a customer-focused environment.

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage a varied workload.

Experience handling sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and resilience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Good digital skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Experience using information or data to inform decisions, identify issues and improve outcomes.
