We have a new job opportunity for a Floor Host to join our amazing team.
In this role you will support the Manager lead the team during the shift, giving support to the Manager in ensuring that the day-to-day operations run smoothly whilst acting as the Host and making sure that everyone has a great time!
You will be responsible for meeting and seating guests, making sure there is a great ambience at all times, Your primary aim? To make sure that all guests are superbly looked after in every part of their journey with us.
It is essential you are warm, engaging, well presented and have a very friendly persona. A core part of your role is to always make sure guests have a great first impression, with departing guests always being given a warm farewell so that they can’t wait to return.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you may be required to jump into many different departments to ensure the smooth operation of the shift. Hence you must be able to adapt to and have a ‘can-do’ attitude in getting stuck in as required.
The Role
You will work across the bar, restaurant and café, delivering great service and maintaining high standards throughout the venue.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing warm, attentive and professional service to guests
- Preparing coffee, cocktails, wine and drinks
- Taking food and drink orders and serving guests efficiently
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Supporting the team during busy services
- Ensuring the bar and service areas are organised and well stocked
- Handling guest queries with professionalism and care
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, warm and naturally hospitable
- Bubbly, positive and engaging with guests
- Passionate about great service and guest experience
- Barista trained or comfortable making quality coffee
- Confident working behind a bar and preparing drinks
- Proactive and organised
- Comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment
- A strong team player with great communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
Hospitality experience is preferred, particularly in bars, cafés or restaurants.
Hours
part-time - a mix of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
