Children's Residential Support Worker
Illogan, Cornwall
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week working long day shifts and sleep ins.
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence is required
We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our family home, caring for children who have sometimes complex behavioural difficulties. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.
The role can be emotionally challenging and you could be handling difficult situations BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better.

What do you need?

Great communication skills, positive and energetic to get involved with activities.

Experience and qualifications in supporting children or transferable skills such as sports, education or working with vulnerable people.

Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations.

Full UK Driving licence is essential.

You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins.
