Flexible term-time hours. £25-£35 per hour. Full support. Real impact.

At Fresh Start in Education, you'll have the freedom to teach differently - building trust, confidence and a love of learning through personalised 1:1 support for young people who are currently out of education across Dorset.

Why Join Fresh Start?

£25-£25 per hour (depending on experience).
Travel subsidy and £15 resource allownace per session.
Dedicated line manager and ongoing support from an experienced SEND team.
Free wellbeing support, plus pension options.
Flexible, term-time working. 3-5 hour daytime sessions.
Bank Staff contract (PAYE). Both short and long-term opportunities.

What You'll Do:

Deliver 1:1 or 2:1 personalised learning in homes or community settings.
Plan creative sessions tailored to each learner's strengths, interests and goals.
Support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs
Encourage confidence, resilience and positive engagement with learning.

What You Need:

At least one year experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH needs or other additional needs.
Experience planning and delivering learning sessions, particularly around core subjects.
Confidence using positive behaviour support, de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies
Update to date safeguarding knowledge.
Availability for at least two consistent weekdays.
