Job Description
We are a leading, well-established loft installation company looking for a motivated and hardworking trainee loft installer to join our company. This role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in the loft installation sector.
You will be trained to install high-quality loft insulation, boarding, ladders, and hatches etc. to improve home energy efficiency, access and storage. No previous loft experience is necessary, but a strong work ethic and a desire to learn are essential as are good practical skills, competent with power tools and excellent customer service skills in addition to very high standards and quality of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Install loft insulation, boarding, ladders, storage and hatches in domestic properties.
- Safety: Adhere to strict health & safety guidelines, working safely at heights and in confined spaces.
- Customer Service: Liaise professionally with customers, explaining the installation process. Leaving the area completely clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Clean Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to lift materials, climb ladders, and work in confined loft spaces.
- Skills: Good manual dexterity and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Attitude: Punctual, reliable, and keen to learn new skills.
