MARINE ELECTRICIAN

If you are applying to be a Marine Electrician you MUST have:

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at A*- C (9-5) to include two at A* – B (9-6) in Maths and English plus a technology or relevant science subject
A strong aptitude for Science, Maths and problem solving
Evidence of electrical/ technical hand skills either at school/ college, work or as a hobby

The training you may receive:

Marine Electrician apprenticeship standard
City & Guilds 2473 Level 2 & 3 in Marine Electrical incl. Business Improvement techniques (BIT)
British Marine Electrical Training (BMET)
Marine Electronic Installers certification (MEI)
VHF licence
Various Berthon courses such as Health & Safety,
Product specific technical training including market leaders Raymarine and Garmin,LEAN manufacturing as applicable
Student membership of IMarEST (the marine industry professional body)
On successful completion of End Point Assessment apprentices are Eng.Tech ready

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: £8.00-£13.50 per hour
