Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team in Fareham. This role is key to maintaining the safety and security of our client’s premises while delivering a high standard of service.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of establishing a new on-site security presence for a high profile client who has not previously had a physical security team. As such, you will play an important role in setting standards and building trust with the client. To be eligible for this role you must be able to demonstrate 5 years UK residency and be security cleared.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through surveillance systems to ensure safety.
- Conduct regular patrols of the client's site.
- Deter and prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or alarms.
- Access control.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents.
- Provide a professional and approachable presence for clients and visitors.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
- 12 hour night shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security role is preferred.
- Valid SIA licence (essential)
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and well-presented
- Ability to administer first aid (desirable)
- Flexibility to cover shifts, including holiday cover when required
